"On the path, you should listen, whether a whisper or cry, follow childishly if the path be straight, and stumble faithfully if it is crooked"
The words above can only be attributed to Kobie Major, Born November 19th, 1993 in Miami Florida. He first took the role of an artist at the age of 7 through early tracings of anime characters atop the desk of his Windows 95 computer. Enveloped in the early stages of the internet, he grew an affinity for Japanese animations and wouldn’t solidify his decision to be a cartoonist until his exposure to American cartoons in the early 2000’s.
He spent most of his time in the private school education system until 2004 when his mother relocated his older brother and himself from Dade county FL, to Lithia Springs GA. He was removed from the public school system in 2010 and enrolled in Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy where he found his passion for photography and cinematography studying jazz, theology, dance and animation omnivorously. His interests in Film led him to pursue a bachelor’s at Pacific Union College. He would later discontinue his studies due to financial instability in 2013.
February 18, 2015 he enlisted in the United States Navy and served as a culinary specialist in Norfolk Virginia. With an endeavor to capture the essence of human experience through visual media, he discharged August 2018 and lives among the world.
